Deck the Halls!

With holiday season knocking at our doors, I’m sure that most of you are in a rush to decorate your home. As for me, I’m always in search for some creative house DIY projects and ideas. Holidays are perfect for these kind of activities!

Wishing all your guests to be angels? Just add some wings to each chair!!!

What a cleaver idea! Send your holiday greetings with scrabble letters!!! Fantastic, and, actually, looks very cool!

At least it’s clear to me now why Santa never paid attention to any of my wish lists! I’ve never fed his deer carrots and hadn’t left him any snacks for his journey! I’m so trying it this year!

Perfect decorating idea for those who are really into recycling!

What the Old City Hides?

I’m a big fan of architecture, so old Nicosia is definitely one of my favorite parts of the city. Despite the fact that it was abandoned by the main inhabitants of the island, you can trace a lot of signs of Greek lifestyle and heritage. There are old churches, sleepy narrow streets and beautiful houses with wooden doors.
It’s always a pleasure have a walk there.

Today, I want to show you these wonderful doors painted in different colors…which color you would choose?

Have a wonderful weekend!

Busy Day!

I do not wear jeans very often and not because I don’t like them. It’s just extremely difficult to find a perfect pair for me. First of all, I don’t like any embroidery, glittering or oversized zips in jean design that, in my opinion, just make them look cheaper. Less is more.  Concentration should be on denim itself.

I like my jeans medium blue and stitched with a classic brown thread. The reason for this is simple. I’m a big fan of any accessories! I always wear necklaces, bracelets, hats, scarves that already create a pattern and any extra embroidery would ruin it and make an outfit look messy.

Today’s favorites: classic fedora and oversized flower broach!

Village Getaway!

Last weekend I was invited to visit my friend’s country house and it became a nice escape from a hectic city life. I spent my days enjoying peaceful views of countryside soaked in warm, autumn sunshine, eating typical breakfasts at local taverns and breathing fresh, mountain air!

Wooden shoes from Holland. What a brilliant idea to decorate your entrance door!

Lace!

Though black is one of my favorite colors, I think one should be careful while dressing head to toe in it. The key to success is texture. You can make a monochrome outfit look interesting by playing with different kinds of fabric, for example: velvet+chiffon or lace+leather!

I have this wonderful lace dress for a while, but I was on a hunt for a pair of boots to wear with it. The thing is I wanted to bring its evening look down by pairing it with a really masculine, military style looking boots. To wear it in a “right” way with stilettos is just too boring for me!

Playing with my friend’s dog, wonderful King!

A Girlie Girl!

What to you usually wear, when you are not in the mood of dressing up or simply don’t have much time to spend on your outfit? Many people just wear jeans and a t-shirt, which is probably o.k., but what if you want more?

I found a perfect solution. One piece cloth! A good dress preferably!
When I’m not into the mood for layering, I simply through on a dress and add some cute accessories like this lovely headpiece. Done!

Favorite nail color of the moment…

The Perfect Sunday!

As the weather stays warm and sunny, we decided to make a short trip down the coast! Cyprus is a place with beautiful nature and gorgeous scenery.

I decided to play with fabric patterns in my outfit: I love stripes and floral print together. A green bag added a splash of color to my black and white outfit.

I finally could wear my little Asos bag! I love its vintage look! Usually, I prefer huge totes as I tend to carry a lot of stuff with me and small bags just don’t fit my daily routine.

This is one of my favorite vintage belts, I’ve got it a year ago and it’s been an irreplaceable accessory in my wardrobe ever since!
